Proud of its heritage, Crafter’s Companion also has its own community fund aimed at supporting local communities across the North East of England, as well as further afield. Through regular fundraising activities throughout the year it supports a number of charities and organisations including:
Breast Cancer Care support people diagnosed with breast cancer through access to nurses, peer support and up-to-date information.
CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly to stop cancer destroying young lives offering help when each child and young person needs it most.
Zoë’s Place is an independent registered charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to 5 years old.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service provides air ambulance services across the North-East, Cumbria and North Yorkshire. They are entirely funded by charity.
AquAid have supported Christian Aid for more than 15 years, donating £3.5 million to water projects around the world.
MIND provides advice and support for people experiencing a mental health problems, as well as campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
The company also support a number of local schools and sports teams and sponsor Tudhoe Cricket Club and Spennymoor Town FC.
