When Sooper Books stepped into the Den we experienced not one, not two, but three firsts! Definitely one to watch if you haven’t seen it already.
Simon and Charlene made Dragons’ history with their company, Sooper Books. Not only did they give their company the Dens’ lowest ever valuation but they had the lowest ask, requesting just £1 for 1%.
And, they got all five of us out of our chairs and in a huddle together for the first time before we decided to go in together.
So, all in all, a bit of an unusual pitch – but a really effective one! I’m so excited to see Sooper Books continue to grow and develop with support from our joint involvement.
Sooper Books provides access to a huge online collection of books and stories – all for free and I was thrilled that Simon and Charlene walked away with a win.
They offer an absolute goldmine of a resource for both schools and families. I know how important (and sometimes how difficult) it can be to get kids excited about reading and books and I could see the passion Simon and Charlene had for Sooperbooks.
