Sooper Books is a storybook streaming service for 2-10 year-olds, delivering world-class free and low-cost stories and audiobooks to millions of families at the touch of a button.
The service was started in lockdown by husband and wife co-founders Simon & Charlene for their daughter Goldie, now three.
Sooper Books spread rapidly. Within a few months of launching the site had soared to the top of Google and was being used in hundreds of schools across the UK.
Fast-forward a few years and Sooper Books now has backing from Sara and the other four dragons (Peter, Steven, Deborah and Touker) following their history-making pitch.
Simon and Charlene said: “We just wanted a really easy way to enjoy great stories, so we could read with Goldie everyday, without having to worry about researching new titles, accessing library books or spending £5-7 every time we wanted a new book.”
