My day at Avon’s head offices – as ‘Chief Inspiration Officer’

So I had a fabulous day yesterday in the Avon head offices. I called in to chat with some of the global Avon staff about the work I’m doing with our rep teams and sales leaders in my role as Chief Inspiration Officer, and the room was absolutely buzzing when I talked about how some of our team have come on leaps and bounds and have seen significant growth and development in their Avon businesses as a result of the coaching and mentoring I’ve been doing.

I have to say my role with Avon has been one of my most rewarding roles. I’m working with almost 1500 of their sales leaders (these are independent entrepreneurs who have their own Avon businesses and who onboard and develop other budding entrepreneurs into the brand and coach them in how to develop their own businesses). Most of these people are women, mums who are working this around their other family commitments, or people doing this as a side hustle to earn a bit of extra income, and to see these people developing, teaching them how to plan for growth within their business, set KPI’s, segment their customers and develop effective marketing strategies and just SUCCEED has been so rewarding and humbling.

It’s such a privilege to get to do what I do on a daily basis, and the best part of my job is when I feel I get to ‘pay it forward’ and pass on the skills and knowledge I’ve picked up in my 20 years in business and see how sharing it can help and benefit others.
