Scoff Paper gave the doggy world its first ever edible greeting card, made from spuds!
Made using natural ingredients, zero rawhide and in four tasty flavours, Scoff Paper edible cards for dogs are a must for all doggy occasions. From birthdays and gotcha days, to Christmas and even Valentine’s, Scoff Paper has cards for every hungry pooch.
It was during lockdown when founders Gemma and Matthew, who are both puppy raisers for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, were throwing a birthday party for their Guide Dog in training, Loki. At the point of posing for a photo with all his presents and cards, Loki tried to eat his paper card and the idea was born.
Using their skills in publishing and branding, Gemma and Matthew set about inventing a flavoursome greeting card range that the world had never seen before.
In three years, Scoff Paper has grown to be the world’s first edible dog card manufacturer, with a facility that can produce millions of cards per year.
Available in over 1,000 stores across the UK, Scoff Paper cards can be found in large chain high street retailers and independent pet specialists, alongside areas of the gifting and greeting card sectors. In the past 12 months, wholesale orders have been facilitated to over 14 countries across the world in a variety of languages.
The consumer offering of Scoff Paper includes customisable and limited-edition cards, available directly from the Scoff Paper website.
Gemma said: “Having Sara as an investor in Scoff Paper is so perfect for us. We’ve spent some time with Sara and her team up in the North East and they are like a close family and that really appeals to us.
“We’re a family business, and a small one at that, so having an investor that genuinely cares about the people in her company makes us really happy to work with Sara.”
