So these 3 pics perfectly sum up the beginning middle and end of my mega 24h craftathon yesterday!
For those of you who don’t know… Every month I embark on a 24h ultra craftathon for HSN (the big shopping channel we work with in the US) – each day at midnight EST (5am our time!) they launch a new set of daily deals that run through 24h and once a month it’s a big craft day which means I’m on air – A LOT – and it’s exhausting but I bloody love it – it’s hands down my most exhilarating day of the month!
So the first pic is me starting in the studio at 5am on Tuesday morning – I’ve been overdoing it this last week or so and I’m quite run down so it was beroccas and vocal zone to the rescue… my shows were throughout the day, culminating in a mammoth-2h special from 1-3am this morning with my great friend (and #1 TV shopping presenter globally in my humble opinion!) Adam Freeman.
In those 2 hours we had what I felt was our strongest product line-up EVER in my 19 years of doing shopping TV and it just showcased what our company can do and how far we’ve come in that time. New tools, new innovations in art products, exceptional design papercrafting kits, world class manufacturing and products that just make us the envy of the craft industry globally! And it felt bloody amazing to stand up on one of the biggest craft platforms in the world and show off these amazing products and how phenomenal my product development team is!
But I’m now gonna lie it was knackering at the same time! So the last picture is me back at home at 4am after my 25h stint deciding to just sleep in my under eye bag patches in the hope I’d look even just semi-normal in the morning (which I did it worked a treat!)
