Sara Davies has confirmed that she is teaming up with First Dates icon Fred Sirieix for a brand new BBC series, which is set to become an instant hit with viewers.
County Durham entrepreneur Sara, founder of globally successful business Crafter’s Companion and star of both Dragons’ Den and Strictly Come Dancing has joined forces with maître d’ Fred and renowned wedding expert Raj Somaiya for Ultimate Wedding Planner, which originally had a working title of Masters of Ceremonies when it was announced by the BBC last year.
The premise of the show is that eight wedding planners will battle it out to prove they are Britain’s next best wedding expert as they design spectacular ceremonies for six couples, with Sara, Fred and Raj overseeing the planners as they aim top stage some spectacular events. Throughout the competition they will send home the weakest planner until just two remain in the final where the planners will face one final challenge to decide who will be crowned the winner.
